Keeping Afloat works with found objects. A precious glass fishing float found on a beach or plucked from the ocean is broken then put back together using stained glass techniques. Shells, stones and bull kelp add to the design. Left over pieces of float glass are tumbled in beach sand and sea water then carefully drilled, combined with sterling silver and worked into beautiful pieces of jewellery.
